Fantastic list. And only when lawsuits cause financial pain will we see real change.

And can we use "alleged transgender:" when referring to someone? I think that would be more accurate.

This is the kind of nonsense we're up against. https://www.sfchronicle.com/sports/high-school/article/ab-hernandez-trans-track-california-20363020.php

Hi Stosh, interesting idea about "alleged transgender." But wouldn't that imply that there's a real transgender person and a fake one? We tend to use "man/boy who identifies as trans," "trans-identified," or just male, to indicate the main point: this person is male. Thoughts?

My personal choice is men wearing woman face and the word trans would be dropped entirely. For reference purposes, I see transwoman used here all the time, and I think alleged transwoman is at least a step in the right direction.

Trans identifying male (TIM) I think has more going for it.

No ability for others to claim β€œtrue transness” being implied, and sets up for compare & contrast with β€œTIF”, β€œNBIM/F”, Republican IM/F, Dem IM/F, cool IM/F, goth IM/F, feminist IM/F, misandrist IM/F, humanist IM/F, and every other personality trait or cause with which a sexed human might identify.

I think I'm going to stick with males wearing woman face said full out, as ultimately we're not going to nomenclature our way out of this insanity.

Important to remember if Harris was elected, she'd brought the full force of the federal government in support of this plague. We live in a political time of choose your poison and Democrats are not going to come to their senses. Pathetic.

Yes. β€œShe did not know how to be a boy.” Someone should’ve told him. There are an infinite number of ways to be a boy and be a man. You don’t have to pretend to be female instead.

This is a terrific compendium of outstanding litigation. Thank you so much for putting this together and for all the brilliant work you are doing.

Thank you, Susan! Glad it's helpful and interesting. That's our goal. Love the feedback.

Quote: "Taylor Starling and Kaitlyn Slavin were also disciplined after wearing T-shirts that read 'Save Women’s Sports' and 'It’s Common Sense. XX β‰  XY.' Athletic department officials allegedly told the girls not to wear their pro-women shirts after comparing the signage to swastikas."

Swastikas. Chromosomal reality compared to swastikas. The stupid, it burns.

I bought a T-shirt from Jennifer Sey's company that reads "Make Women's Sports XX Again." I wore it to my gym. Got an email later in the day asking me not to wear it anymore because it had "upset some people."

This gym is owned by a woman. But she and all the employees list their pronouns on the homepage. (Eyeroll.)

How immature are you that you get "upset" by somebody's T-shirt?? Can't you just ignore it and go about your day?? If I saw someone in my class wearing a MAGA T-shirt, I would think, "Well, ok, I don't want to hang out with that person," but I would mind my own business and keep my mouth shut. I sure as hell wouldn't go crying to management!

I wonder if β€œProtect females’ rights” would also get a rise.

That would pretty much seal up the misogynistic foundations of this BS.

Yes, advocating for women and women's rights, however we say it, does trigger backlash. Part of a trend. There has long been resistance to feminism; in the beginning of the second wave, in the 1970s, it was derided as "women's lib." Now it's called transphobic.

And thus 3rd & 4th wave feminism, sanitized of β€œuppityness” & reburdened with more male objectification (β€œTWAW”, β€œprostitution is just work”, β€œgirldique”, etc.), was championed by the powers that be and their handmaidens, and gobbled up by those fellow men of mine who will tolerate, or even feign approval for, performative feminism so long as someone still makes them a sandwich, does the dishes, bears & raises their spawn, takes on all the emotional labour of a relationship, and gives them the occasional blowjob.

Probably. Because, you know, what is a female anyway? Are they saying males cannot be female if they really really want to? And are they actually demanding women's rights? Very controversial.

It makes me so angry, not just for the women & children but for reason & coherence: words have meanings, and some even have meanings that are objectively real, despite what the idiot postmodernists want everyone to think.

(My physics & maths background, plus IT career, rely more than a smidge on objective reality β€” as do their phones, their healthcare, the internet, etc.)

WSPWG's avatar

Oh yes. Comparing pro-female T-shirts with swastikas! Unbelievable. And what a simple slogan you wore: Make Women's Sports XX Again. Crazy that your gym-mates complained. But sometimes, upsetting people is a good thing. It can make them think. Thank you, Lisa, for being a part of our team.

Yep.

The Connecticut girls' case failed in mediation and is scheduled for trial in April of 2026. Will this be the first such trial I wonder πŸ€”
